Baby Fever - Mommy + Daddy = Baby

I just love this idea posted for Valentine's Day over at Whorange and I think it would make adorable baby room decor. Using handprints or thumbprints and a long rectangular frame or four separate frames to hold each print (plus the + sign). Image found here.

I need to get hubs started on the letters. If I ask him now, he might get it done by our (not-yet-conceived) child's fifth birthday.

Baby Fever - Mommy Thumb Awareness

So some folks that haven't been effected by this may think it's a bit silly, but I certainly don't. Especially for crafters that use their hands a lot, and working moms with Blackberrys (I know, we're all addicted to those things).

Baby Fever - Diaper Pouch & Change Pad

Anna over at Noodlehead is such a genius. She posted a diaper pouch tutorial a while back that begs to be followed. Here is my version.


I ended up using belts for the cotton webbing as it was one I never wore anymore, and it matched. I also thought a changing pad in coordinating fabric might be a nice addition to this gift. Check it out.


I think I'll be making a few more of these sets for my mommy-to-be friends and family!
