31 Days of Hallowedding Inspiration #13: Lucky Number Thirteen

Okay, so I had to at least dedicate a portion of this post to the superstition of the number 13. Although, I have to admit, ideas here are kind of limited. Broken mirrors? Thirteen tables? Black cats and bats? Opals? Ladders and umbrellas, reception on the thirteenth floor of a hotel? Somehow, Hitchcock's Psycho and Shakespeare's Macbeth come to mind. Not exactly great wedding ambiance, right? Eh, it could still be fun, so why not have a go? Feeling lucky...?

How about a thirteen hour clock or a Ouija board as a centerpiece?


This is a neat little favor idea.


I definitely see umbrellas for bridesmaids instead of flowers. Or maybe a thirteen blood red or black rose or calla lily bouquet.
